Translocation of two Protected Wildlife from Sipirok to Sibolangit (June 11, 2024)

Scorpion Indonesia Foundation together with the Wildlife Authority (BBKSDASU) field office in Sipirok translocated 2 protected wildlife from Sipirok to Sibolangit Rescue Center  in Sibolangit subdistrict of Deli Serdang regency on June 11, 2024. The animals were translocated to Sibolangit for rehabilitation process and will be released back into the wild when ready. The two animals (a gibbon Hylobates Agilis and an Oriental pied hornbill Anthracoceros albirostris arrived at the BBKSDASU office in Medan on March 11 for handover document process and they arrived at Siblangit on the following day (June 12, 2024).
