Tuesday, May 12, 2020 right at Rimba Sihasur Village, Sipirok District, the Scorpion team and BKSDA conducted a joint patrol activity. The joint patrol was carried out to anticipate Illegal Logging activities around the Dolok Sipirok Nature Reserve Forest Area. Monitoring is carried out by monitoring the destination location for illegal logging and hunting for protected wildlife. Rimba Sihasur Village is a village that passes through the forest area of the Dolok Sipirok Nature Reserve. Rimba Sihasur Village also often conflicts between humans and wildlife such as Orangutans, this often disrupts the productivity of community gardens during the durian fruit season. To anticipate the rampant Illegal logging in Rimba Sihasur Village, patrol activities are carried out around the Dolok Sipirok area. BKSDA Team and Scorpion managed to find several pieces of illegal logging results of a type of hotang wood at the coordinates of 1 ° 39'40.64 "N 99 ° 14'14.92" E.
