In a visit on Thursday (3rd of December 2015), Scorpion foundation found that wildfowls were on sale again at Jalan Meteorologi Medan.
Scorpion sent report and photographs of the wildfowl to the Natual Resources Conservation Agency (BKSDA) in North Sumatra recommending to have socialisation activities among the hunters/traders to reduce hunting of the wildfowl.
Scorpion also offered assistance to accompany BKSDA officers to visit the wildfowl sale location. Although the wildfowl are not protected species, but if the hunting of these wildlife is not controlled, they will disappear in a few years.
