Scorpion Wildlife Trade Monitoring Group Insists an End to the Elephant Riding at the Surabaya Zoo (January 6, 2020)
Posted on 03:55 January 07th, 2020

The Scorpion Foundation, which is also known as The Scorpion Wildlife Trade Monitoring  Group, insists an end to the elephant riding at Surabaya Zoo. The elephants here are exploited to make money but these animals are looking apprehensive, thin, and have no passion for life.

In a letter submitted to the zoo management on Monday (6 January 2020) the Scorpion Foundation also requested that animal keepers at the zoo increase supervision so that visitors do not give human food to the animals.
