The Wildlife Authority (BBKSDASU) team from Sipirok field office, together with Scorpion Indonesia Foundation and local community, conducted a joint patrol around Lubuk Raya Nature Reserve, South Tapanuli regency at two locations (Sitaratoit and Lembah Lubuk Raya village).
The visit to these locations is in connection with a plan to make a new road from Sitaratoit to Lembah Lubuk Raya. The new road is still in the proposal stage.
The BKSDASU and Scorpion will find more information about the plan to ensure that no part of conservation area is cleared for the road.
