Evacuation of a Tiger Carcass in Pastap Julu Village, Tambangan Subdistrict, Mandailing Natal (November 18, 2024)

A Sumatran tiger was snared and died in Pastap village, Tambangan subdistrict of Mandailing Natal Regency on the 18th of November 2024.

After being informed of the tiger condition, the BBKSDA-SU and Scorpion Foundation went to Pastap village to move the tiger carcass to Padangsidimpuan for further investigation.

The tiger carcass has been buried in Barumun Wildlife Reserve.
