BBKSDA-Scorpion Joint Patrol at Sitahuis Village, Central Tapanuli (January 27, 2020)

On the 27th of January 2020, Forest rangers from the Wildlife Authority (BBKSDA) in North Sumatra and from Scorpion Foundation carried out a joint patrol at Sitahuis, Central Tapanuli regency in North Sumatra. This patrol was carried out to monitor illegal poaching of protected animals in the forest, especially illegal capture of Tapanuli orangutan.


Forest ranger from BBKSDA is setting up GPS device to get way points of the area.
