Close down all illegal wildlife sales in Indonesia. The wildlife belongs in the wild. Indonesian Law No. 5/1990 says: Every person who kill, capture, keep protected species (alive or dead) can be sentenced to five years in jail and fine of IDR100 million (US$7,400.00).

Pada 12 Oktober 2020, tim dari Yayasan Scorpion dan Satwa Liar (BBKSDA SU) mengevakuasi seekor burung hantu (Tyto alba) di Besitang.

Burung hantu ini jatuh dari pohon dalam kondisi tidak sehat.

Sangat menyedihkan, setelah 2 hari dirawat, burung hantu malang ini mati pada tanggal 14 Oktober 2020.
