Joint Patrol with Forest Management Unit (KPH) X Padangsidimpuan (October 14, 2024)

The KPH X Padangsidimpuan together with Scorpion Indonesia Foundation conducted a joint patrol in surrounding forest of Ramba Sihasur village, Sipirok subdistrict of South Tapanuli regency on the 14th of October 2024.

The purpose of this patrol was to prevent illegal hunting and illegal logging in the area.

During the visit no illegal activity was found, but instead, the team saw 2 Class D orangutan nests and pandan plants (orangutans like to eat pandan leaves).
