BBKSDASU Evacuates a Silvered Leaf Monkey from Tebing Tinggi, North Sumatra (November 19, 2024)

BBKSDASU evacuated a female silvered leaf monkey (Trachypithecus Fcristatus) from the  Fire Department (DAMKAR) of Tebing Tinggi in Tebing Tinggi city on Tuesday, November 19, 2024.

This animal (app. 5 years old) was kept as pet but the owner handed it over to the BBKSDASU voluntarily.

The Scorpion Indonesia foundation and BBKSDA-SU took it to the Animal Rescue Centre in Sibolangit for medical check up, and rehabilitation.
