Scorpion Indonesia Foundation Wildlife Center (BKSDASU Region II Stabat), Civil Service Police Unit and Tebing Tinggi Fire Service, Satpol PP managed to evacuate an adult male Beruk (Macaca nemestrina) located in the Sisingamangaraja area, Bandar Sono Village, Padang Hulu District, Tebing City Tall. These animals have been kept by their owners for about 10 years.

During the evacuation, the team experienced difficulties in the cages where the animals were kept because there was no access door and the cages had been permanently welded. Finally, the team used an iron grenda to cut some of the iron rods of the cage so that there would be access to the cage. After the animals have been successfully evacuated, they are then temporarily entrusted to Scorpion for health checks and treated at the Batang Toru Rescue Center.

The team monitors the location of the cage
